The ‘One Day’ Trick

The way things have gone recently, I don’t feel like I have very much agency at the moment.  It is not my ideal situation.  So to get through, this time, I am using the ‘one day’ trick.  I know that one day I will have freedom and will have a lot of agency over my own life.

What are your tricks for getting through less than ideal situations?

  2. Keep your head up and do the best you can fir that moment; don’t focus on the big picture. One step at a time.

  3. I try and remember that I can control my thoughts and actions. Of course, anxiety and depression can make that difficult. Making art is a good way to find solace.

  4. I keep busy and achieve something, but my running is the thing that invigorates me, because it is the one thing I control above all else 💐😀
