Business Planning

I have been very concerned about timing in my business planning.  ‘I have to have done X before I can do Y’, etc.  But really, it doesn’t matter.  What matters is that I’m happy.  End of.

Is happiness in your business plan?

The Beauty of Reality

Our souls are beautiful – we all know that.  We also all know that everyone is a good person, deep down.  We have all just been skewed in various ways by our parents/relatives/friends/life in general.  What matters now is how we act and how we love.  We can be bitter and twisted, or we can care and support.

This post isn’t quite about that, though.  It’s about love, and how we approach being a partner.  Yes, we are, in general, slightly fucked up good people.  What matters is not the beauty of our souls, though, but the grace with which we look after ourselves.  This is the trick, the knack, the reality to love and life.

Putting Yourself First

Sometimes, it is only right, and only sensible, to put yourself first.

If you care too much for another, to your own detriment, you are putting yourself in harm’s way, and other people will have to pick up the pieces.

It is not fair to yourself, and it is not fair to others not to look after yourself.

Be strong, put yourself first.

A Life Review

We are here, now. To a large extent it is us who has put us here. We have followed a course of action and… Ta dah… here we are. But, every now and again, it is natural to question our motivations. It is natural to wonder if we are walking the right path.

Well I did recently, and instead of letting my hard work go to waste, I have continued on the same path and mentally reframed what I’m doing. It’s been a subtle shift in mentality, but one that reflects the growing changing nature of life.

I am walking the same path now, but with a slightly different beat in my step.

Every Dream Starts With A Yearning

Being honest? I yearn for love, I yearn to feel good about myself and the world. I yearn for peace.

Those are the realities behind my dreams, and I have created a world in which I think I am best placed to find them.

What do you dream of, and how have you shaped your life to find them?

Doing It Anyway

It is a night out, and I am on my own. I decided, when my friend bailed, that I would come out anyway. I went to a really friendly pub and have made friends. As a disabled person, I am so glad to have made the effort. I am having a great night. Sometimes it is good to push your own boundaries.

Doing Good Brings Good

Doing good brings good. Let me explain.

When you have done some good, altruisticly, in someone else’s life, you feel really rewarded. You get a feeling like no other. It in turn makes your environment more of a happy and healthy place to be.

Doing good brings good. Spread the word 🙂

Breaks And Sleeps

There is nothing as important as a break and a sleep.. I just took three weeks off, because I needed it, and I’m back and loving it. I also try to sleep eight hours at night. Looking after yourself is important, and breaks and sleeps are such an important part of that.
